What is MPPCS or What is MPPSC?

Madhya Pradesh Public Service commission (MPPSC) conducts exam for the recruitment to the posts in Madhya Pradesh Civil Services for the post of Deputy Collector, Dy. Superintendent of Police, State Accounts Service, Sales Tax Officer, District Excise Officer, District Organiser, Tribal Welfare, Labour Officer, District Registrar, Employment Officer, Area Organiser, Block Development Officer, Assistant Director Food/Food Officer, Project Officer, Social/ Rural Intensive Literacy Project. PCS officers hold various posts at sub-divisional, district, divisional and state level from conducting revenue administration and maintenance of law and order.

MPPSC Selection Process: The MPPSC competitive exam comprises of Preliminary exam (Two papers of Objective Type) of 400 marks, Main Exam (6 Papers for 1400 marks Written Type) and The interview of 175 marks:-

Preliminary Examination:-

- The MPPSC Preliminary Examination will consist of Two paper of 200 marks each. Time duration for each paper will be for 2 hours. Question paper will be of objective type and carry a maximum of 200 marks for 100 questions. The examination is meant to serve as a screening test only. The Standard of the paper will be that of a Bachelor’s Degree Level.

Note:-
(1) MPPSC Paper-II of the Preliminary Examination will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%.
(2) It is mandatory for the Candidates to appear in both the papers of MPPSC Preliminary Examination for the purpose of evaluation. Therefore, a candidate will be disqualified in case he does not appear in both in papers of MPPSC.
(3) The merit of the Candidates will be determined on the basis of marks obtained in MPPSC Paper-I of the Preliminary Examination.

Current events of national and international importance. This will help him/her to secure good marks in MPPSC prelims exam.

Important dynasties of MP, contributions of important dynasties in the history and culture of MP. Tribals, Arts, Architecture, Fine arts and historical personalities of MP Geography section of pcsaka’s library contains more than 3000 questions. Geography has been divided into subsections such as Physical Geography, Indian Geography and World Geography. These sections will help aspirant to practice and command good knowledge for MPPSC prelims exam.
Political system, Political parties and elections, Panchayati Raj, Social System and sustainable economic development of MP. Industry, plan, Economic programmes, business, demography and census of MP Economics section contains more than 2000 questions to practice from. Questions on general science and environment will cover general appreciation and understanding of science including matters of everyday observation and experience as may be expected of a well educated person who has not made a special study of any particular scientific discipline. Science section contains more than 2500 questions to practice from. Science has been divided into subsections such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
